Black Youth in Minnesota were invited to express themselves through the arts and provided a small honorarium for sharing their talents with our North Minneapolis Community.

Food & Essentials Community Giveaway June 26th-28th, 2020
Food and essentials were purchased and collected to help support North Minneapolis community members impacted by Covid 19 or the George Floyd uprising. Items were distributed from Harvest Prep @1300 Olson Memorial Hwy. in North Mpls. 320 people were served over a 3-day period.
BBB Revolutionary Reading Challenge 30/30/30
The Revolutionary Reading Challenge aims to motivate 30 Black youth to read literature written by or about Black, Bold and Brilliant pioneers, activists, artists, scholars and revolutionaries. Participants will be financially sponsored by BBB and community members as an incentive to read. They will be provided a text by BBB and commit to read & journal for at least 30 mins./day for 30 days. In the journal, youth will provide a daily summary of what they read to help comprehend text and articulate their thoughts.

Black, Bold and Brilliant Youth Empowerment Summit 2020
A day for Black youth to imagine, explore, discuss, organize and envision their future as change makers in their community. Featured workshops include: health & healing, afrocentric art activism & expression, civic leadership, economic development, community safety, and social justice.
